Over a Year...

Yes, I am really succeeding at keeping up with this blog. Though, I was suddenly surprised of a friend of mine, Ferial, who I believe had three blog attempts until it finally stuck. Perhaps I just need one more re-start before I am dazzling cyberspace with my adventuring.

Currently I am enjoying a lovely cup of green tea on a foggy Oregon morning. I remember growing up thinking cool foggy mornings like this were a terrible sign, but this morning I could not help the smile spreading across my face. I love this type of Oregon weather.

The weather is in fact the reason that I am now a runner. In middle school, I pretended to be a runner, but I didn't love it. Now, after almost two years I am preparing for my second half marathon, and I can genuinely say that since I've been running less this week I do miss it.

Between my keyboard and my body I have a knit hat sitting on the table. I have found that it is very easy for me to conceptualize new patterns. It is even a fun task to write out the charts and patterns. The actual knitting of a sample is another story though. I have had this accessory set on the needles since March...

In my work basket sits two projects. Sadly one is a colorwork bag that is in desperate need of mending. The other is a wonderful tweedy, tunic-length cardigan with cropped sleeves.
